Living and studying in the center of Vienna
The dormitory is situated in the city’s new creative- and student area and benefits from the excellent traffic connection – the U3-station "Gasometer" is situated just in front of the building – even an intern entrance to the underground station is planned. You can reach the city center within a few minutes.
For example: the "University of Applied Arts" is situated directly at the U3-station "Stubentor" and the "University of Visual Arts" resides at Schillerplatz and is perfectly reachable by foot from U3-station "Volkstheater". In addition, there is an excellent traffic connection to the "University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna" as well as to the "Konservatorium Wien University".
The dormitory is perfect for students with artistic fields of study, since there are music premises (numerous practice-/ performance rooms) provided. In addition, there are community rooms which can be used for activities in fields of architecture or visual arts (architect studios).

Multipurpose room
This room, situated nearby the entrance area, is suitable for any kind of utilisation, especially for activites related to art and culture. It can be used as work shop, art room and studio, but it can be easily converted into a stage for exhibitions, performances, presentations and other events.
Laundrette
Location and design of the laundrette exceeds its primary function: orientation towards the sunny courtyard, communicative atmosphere on stepped stages, comfortable seats, coffee dispenser etc. support communication.
Games room
Ping-pong table, table football and darts guarantee thrilling competitions and lots of action.
Study room
Apart from the living area there is another possibility for students to study in a flexible and supportive learning environment on the 2nd and 6th floor. "Learn together – learn from one another"!
Studio
There are 3 studios - on the 2nd, 4th and 6th floor - which offer ideal conditions for creative moments due to their layout, ceiling height and location.
Community kitchen
The community kitchens on the 3rd and 5th floor are culinary centres and offer cooking places in addition to the kitchenettes inside the living areas. The generous room configuration enables cooking on a large scale and spending festive evenings together.
Lounge
Evenings in the two lounges (4th floor and top floor) are a little more quiet. The lounges can be used to meet and watch TV, play cards or just hang out and have a drink.
Outdoor: Studio courtyard
Belonging to the work shop/studio/event room, the courtyard of the building offers another space for available collective uses.
Party- and rehearsal room
The partyroom is situated in the basement of the building. Not only parties and get-togethers can be celebrated there, but this room is mainly used as rehearsal room.
Bicycle room
The bicycle room in the basement is accessible through a ramp in the courtyard and offers a safe and secure space for bicycles in addition to the bike racks outside. The lockable boxes are available for a service charge.
